Job summary

Inspired Living at Ocoee is seeking a Part Time Med Tech to cover 11 pm to 7 am in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will administer medications, assist with ADLs, and coordinate with health professionals to ensure resident well-being in a compliant, safe environment.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, at least one year in caregiving, state Med Tech certifications, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• State Med Tech certifications required.
• Supervisory experience of 6+ months.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to MARs.
• Understanding of medical terminology and communication with medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per physician orders and MAR for residents.
• Document task completion daily.
• Document changes in resident condition per guidelines.
• Communicate resident needs to other Medication Aides.
• Assist in meal service and dining room duties.
• Supervise staff during shift.
• Maintain required certifications through in-service trainings.
• Follow safety, HIPAA, OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Support safety practices and assist with injury investigations when needed.
