Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living in Newberg, OR is seeking a part-time Med Tech for Memory Care. The role involves administering medications, direct resident care, and coordination with nursing staff.

A strong candidate will have prior memory care or assisted living experience and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. The position operates on a night shift (10pm-6am) with weekend availability and wage range $19.70–$25.70 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Caregiver and Medication Tech in a Memory Care Unit and/or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders and in accordance with facility policy.
• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Record medications administered in the resident's record and communicate with pharmacy when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report medication side effects to the Director of Health Services.
• Assist with medical appointments and advocate for residents' needs.
• Observe residents for health changes and document in EMR.
• Complete incident reports and perform delegated nursing services as assigned by RN.
