Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time Cat Scan Technician for the Somerville, NJ area. The CTTechnologist will perform a variety of CAT scan procedures with emphasis on patient safety and quality results.

Night shift, 16 hours per week, with part-time scheduling. Applicants must have a State of New Jersey license and ARRT certification, CT certification within 12-24 months of hire, and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Position patient to obtain study as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
• Performs patient prep and positioning for CAT scan examinations.
• Under Radiologist direction, administers contrast agents and ensures radiation safety.
