RWJBarnabas Health in Somerville, NJ is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to perform CAT scan procedures in a fast-paced radiology department. The candidate will prioritize patient safety and deliver high-quality imaging under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Requirements include New Jersey state license, ARRT certification, CT certification within 12-24 months, and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months. Night shift, 16 hours/week, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• New Jersey state licensure and ARRT certification required.
• CT certification obtained within 12-24 months of hire.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patient to obtain study as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
• Operate CAT scanner and ensure prompt commencement of the procedure.
• Instruct and administer contrast agents under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Assist physicians in examinations and document results.
• Manage schedules, documentation, and quality control of CT exams.
