Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time Cat Scan Technician for the Somerville, NJ area. The CT technologist will perform a variety of CAT Scan procedures, prioritizing patient safety and quality. Night shifts are required with 16 hours per week.

Candidates must have a New Jersey license, ARRT CT certification (within 12–24 months of hire), and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within six months). Prior hospital CT experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• Must have State of New Jersey License and ARRT CT certification within 12–24 months of hire.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper study setup.
• Operate CT equipment under Radiologist direction and administer contrast as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and radiation protection standards.
