AC Hotel Reston / Residence Inn Reston in Reston, VA invites applications for a Part Time Night Auditor. This role balances revenue, posts charges, handles reservations, and supports guest services during nighttime hours in a full-service hotel environment.

Ideal candidates have prior front desk or hotel experience. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, daily pay access, and room discounts, with a minimum 32 hours per week requirement.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Previous hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post all daily room and outstanding charges.
• Balance all revenue totals of cash and credits against the revenue report.
• Verify and prepare registration cards for arriving guests.
• Handle hotel phone system, transfer calls, and take messages for guests as well as hotel staff.
• Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations.
• Check in/out guests according to hotel and brand standards.
• Address inquiries, requests, and complaints from guests; coordinate with other departments to fulfill requests.
• Notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with guestrooms and hotel grounds.
• Provide information and assistance to guests regarding the hotel and local surroundings.
• Create and/or print the required reports.
• Verify each front desk shift’s transactions.
• Finalize transactions completed during the day, including daily income and daily F&B Revenue Reports.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front Office area.
• Perform cashier duties, cash travelers’ checks, and post charges to guest accounts.
• Follow in-house procedures to help ensure the security of guests and employees; be knowledgeable about hotel emergency procedures.
• The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day; shifts may vary.
