Base pay range

Summary

The Night Auditor is primarily responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring accurate hotel accounting of guest transactions, billing, and hotel revenue. Additionally, the Night Auditor performs duties similar to a Front Desk Agent.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Maintain guest service as the core philosophy of the operation.
• Respond promptly to guests’ needs, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure hotel standards and services contribute to consistent guest experiences.
• Implement guest service initiatives in line with Gulph Creek Hotel Standards.

Front Desk Operations

• Greet all guests and process reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
• Assist guests proactively and respond efficiently to requests.
• Provide information about hotel policies, services, amenities, and local area.
• Maintain accurate guest information in the property management system.
• Handle collection efforts, balances, and perform audit functions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with other departments regarding room status and guest requests.

Night Audit Operations

• Close and balance room accounts and cash/credit transactions.
• Balance department transactions and maintain accurate accounts.
• Print and distribute audit reports and complete checklists.
• Close out the business day and prepare for the next cycle.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent plus relevant customer service experience. Must be able to read, speak, and comprehend English, and perform basic math skills. No certificates/licenses required currently.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

• Stand, walk, use hands, and communicate regularly.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like stooping or crouching.
