Job description

Content Specialist/Auditor

Duration: 12+ month project / 100% remote work / Flexible schedule / Part-time work 15-20 hours per week.

Job Summary:

Our client seeks a detail-oriented Content Specialist for a 12+ month project focused on updating and auditing content on their organization’s website. This role will collaborate closely with the product marketing team to ensure online content aligns with growth targets, product details, and marketing compliance for agencies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough audits of existing website content (over 1,000 pages) for accuracy, compliance, and up-to-date information.
  2. Utilize internal AI tools and source materials (e.g., brochures) to evaluate content.
  3. Recommend content changes, including merging articles and removing outdated information.
  4. Maintain a strong understanding of marketing compliance requirements relevant to the insurance industry.
  5. Contribute to the accuracy and consistency of product detail pages and articles.
  6. Translate product marketing strategies into effective online content.
  7. Support the development of agency materials for local markets.
  8. Utilize project management tools such as Monday.com and Jira to manage tasks and collaborate with teams.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in content editing, auditing, or a related role.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Ability to understand and apply compliance guidelines to online content.
  4. Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is strongly preferred, or experience in other heavily regulated industries.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Experience with content auditing tools is a plus (Zyflow experience not required).
  7. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  8. A portfolio showcasing editing or auditing work samples is highly desirable.
