St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Part-time NICU Pharmacist to join our NICU and Women’s Services team.

The role is a part-time morning position (4 hours/day, Monday through Friday) working with neonatologists, obstetricians, advanced practice providers, and nurses to support neonatal and maternal patients. The pharmacist will participate in multidisciplinary rounds, provide clinical pharmacy support, and supervise pharmacy staff while ensuring accurate dispensing,

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent from an accredited school or college of pharmacy.
• 0 years of experience required; relevant neonatal/pharmacy exposure preferred.
• Active Idaho pharmacist license or eligibility; BLS certification required (ASHI/AHA/Red Cross).

Responsabilités

• Review and evaluate prescribed therapies for NICU patients.
• Interpret prescriptions and accurately compound and dispense medications.
• Provide medication information and counseling to patients, nurses and staff.
• Document interventions and cognitive clinical services per hospital standards.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as appropriate.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians, interns, and staff.
• Maintain accurate medication records, charges, inventory and records.
• Assist with training of technicians and residents; mentor new practitioners.
