St. Luke’s is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Boise NICU team at Boise Medical Center. The Boise NICU is a Level 4 unit serving infants with medical or surgical needs and 24/7 neonatology coverage.

We offer night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) with shift differential, relocation assistance for eligible full-time hires, and a supportive culture focused on teamwork, education, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice (State of Idaho).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1+ years of RN experience in NICU preferred.
• NRP and STABLE recommended.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Boise NICU team at our Boise Medical Center. The Boise NICU is one of the larger units in the hospital; serving infants (and their families) requiring medical or surgical care immediately after birth. Infants’ medical conditions vary from extremely premature to ones having difficulty transitioning to extra-uterine life. We are a level 4 NICU: treating infants requiring gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal surgeries or treatments. We care for all types of NICU patients excluding ECMO and complex cardiac surgery. We are a transport referral site and receive patients from all over the region. We are a delivering hospital and attend all high risk deliveries. The NICU provides 24/7 Neonatology coverage with an in house neonatologist and nurse practitioner.

• Additional Relocation Assistance Available For Eligible Full-Time New Hires
• Idaho’s largest and most experienced NICU (Level IV) with board-certified neonatologists on site 24/7 immediate care working with a broad array of pediatric surgical and medical subspecialists.
• 61 beds serving infants requiring medical or surgical care immediately after birth
• Typical RN-to-patient ratio: 1:1-3

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1+ years of RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
