Job summary

St. Luke’s is seeking a Pharmacist to provide overnight pharmaceutical care across PICU, pediatrics, NICU, nursery and women’s services in Boise, Idaho. The 7-on/7-off schedule includes night and weekend differentials and opportunities to precept students and pharmacy residents.

The role focuses on clinical pharmacy services, reviewing therapy, counseling patients and staff, dispensing medications, and supervising technicians. Requires a PharmD, Idaho license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
• 0 years' experience.
• Valid Pharmacist License in state of practice and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Review appropriateness of prescribed medication therapy.
• Provide medication information and consultation to patients and staff.
• Interpret prescriptions, compound and dispense medications.
• Supervise and authorize work of technicians and staff.
• Maintain records on medication therapy, charges, and inventory.
• Perform cognitive clinical pharmacy services and document findings.
• Administer medications as appropriate.
• Assist in training technicians, residents, and staff.
• Serve as a mentor to staff and learners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
