Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a part-time Newborn Hearing Screen Technician for Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. This very part-time role involves daytime shifts starting around 9 am, with end times dependent on the number of babies. The candidate should be available 3–4 days per week.

The role focuses on performing hearing screens, educating parents, and ensuring accurate documentation and data submission at the end of each shift. CPR certification required or obtainable upon offer.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on results and next steps.
• Ensure readiness of patients before screening and maintain reliable results.
• Collect demographics, document, and upload screen data per shift.
• Provide compassionate care to screened babies and families.
• Notify supervisor of missed or refer babies and coordinate outpatient follow-ups.
