Amentum seeks a Network Engineer 2 (Part-Time) for Kauai, HI. You will provide network engineering support, security, administration, and management for classified and unclassified PMRF networks.

Qualifikationen

• Two (2) Years of Network Administration experience.
• Knowledge of IT networks and advance IT networking concepts.
• Must be proficient in operating personal computers and standard office software.
• Must have basic keyboarding skills and aptitude for neatness and accuracy.
• Critical thinking - Proven problem solver.
• Good written and oral communication skills including the ability to organize.
• Experience with DoD systems and infrastructure (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Operates, maintains, and configures network hardware/software including routers, switches, firewalls and other infrastructure.
• Develops engineering, security implementation, and integration plans for new network systems.
• Provide escalation support for junior team members and training as required.
• May perform duties as a Contract Task Manager (CTM) for TI work.
• Tracks and reports status on day-to-day and project activities.
• Perform Cyber Security tasks using DISA STIGS, SCAP, SRR scripts, and ACAS/Nessus.
• Maintain 100% network device compliance with DoW IAVM programs and assist in POA&M development.
• Configure and maintain network management platforms and review logs/audits for troubleshooting.
• Prepare and submit reports to management and customers.
• Interface with management and customers to ensure mutual awareness of developments and security posture.
