MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center in Dubuque, IA is seeking a part-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with strong perinatal and neonatal care expertise to join our NICU team. The NNP will provide assessment, evaluation and treatment of neonates under pediatrician supervision, attend high-risk deliveries, and stabilize patients for transfer when needed.

The role requires completion of an accredited NNP program, an unrestricted Iowa license, 2+ years NICU experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS and NRP

Qualificações

• Minimum requirements include completion of an accredited NNP program.
• Unrestricted Iowa state license is required.
• NICU experience of at least two years is required.
• Ability to work independently as only one NNP per shift.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, evaluate, and treat neonates under pediatrician supervision.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging as appropriate.
• Write orders for meds, IV therapy, nutrition, and patient transfers.
• Attend high-risk deliveries, resuscitation, and stabilization.
• Provide newborn care, consult with staff, and participate in education and policy updates.
