Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or combination of education and work experience to equal at least four years
• Ability to work mornings, evenings & weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read, understand, and complete written and verbal requests and work assignments in English
• Ability to stand for long periods—up to four hours

Responsibilities

• Support student gallery staff and monitor gallery coverage to ensure security and guest safety
• Demonstrate high levels of customer service and engage visitors
• Provide information about collections, facilities, programs, and events
• Assist with wayfinding, visitor questions, and communication between visitors and staff
• Follow opening/closing procedures, supervise gallery attendants, and assist with training sessions
• Perform routine housekeeping, custodial duties, and building maintenance tasks
• Track inventory and support in coordinating front desk calls and emails
