Job summary

Munson in Utica, NY seeks a Part-Time Visitor Experience Associate (14.5 hrs/wk) to be the friendly first contact for visitors, students, members, and volunteers. You will handle admissions, memberships, ticketing, and retail, while promoting programs and events with excellent service.

Responsibilities include front-of-house operations, cash handling, and accurate record-keeping. Flexible day, weekend, and evening hours support campus programs and events at the Museum of Art.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service, retail, reception, or related experience required.
• Flexibility to work regular evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for Munson visitors, providing exceptional service.
• Welcome guests in person, by phone, and through electronic communications.
• Process admissions, memberships, registrations, and retail transactions accurately.
• Operate front-of-house and POS systems; handle cash and record-keeping.
• Maintain clean, welcoming public spaces and up-to-date displays.
