Job summary

Shared Imaging LLC in Holmdel, NJ is seeking a Part Time Imaging Technologist Aide to support patient intake and preparation for MRI or PET/CT scans. The role includes helping patients, registering information, and assisting the technologist during scanning.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and knowledge of medical terminology; radiology or patient care experience is preferred. The schedule includes 8 hours on Friday (7:30am–4pm) with possible Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred.
• Radiology experience preferred; patient care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients.
• Register and verify patient information for tests.
• Ensure all information is available for tests and procedures.
• Assist patients in and out of the trailer and position them for scanning.
• Assist technologist with positioning and prep for MRI or PET/CT scans.
• Stock dressing rooms, scan rooms, and control areas; order supplies.
