Job summary

Shields Health Care Group in Lowell, MA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our part-time team. You will perform MRI examinations, ensure patient safety, position patients, and maintain equipment according to center protocols.

Responsibilities include administering contrast, data entry, transmitting images to radiologists, and supporting clinical staff. Requires MRI scanning experience, ARRT/CPR certifications (ARMRIT accepted at some locations) and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• MRI experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Position patients and maintain comfort during exams.
• Administer intravenous contrast and perform scans per center protocol.
• Forward data and films to Radiologist after exam.
• Record patient data and provide films/CD as needed.
• Clean and resupply equipment and rooms as required.
