Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is actively seeking an MRI Technologist for a per-diem role in Massachusetts. The MRI technologist will support a fast-paced imaging center while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and clear communication with patients and radiologists.

Candidates must have MRI experience and current MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications, with ARMRIT accepted at some locations. This position offers a per-diem schedule and competitive pay with benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires prior MRI scanning experience.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to assist patients with mobility and explain procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and protocols to ensure patient safety during MRI exams.
• Position patients comfortably and monitor them during the scan.
• Administer intravenous contrast and prepare all necessary documentation for exams.
• Submit films/CDs to radiologists and assist staff as needed.
