Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires prior MRI scanning experience.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills.
• Sit and use a computer for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs.
• Some inpatient locations may require call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Inform and position patients, ensuring comfort during exams.
• Administer intravenous contrast when needed.
• Perform scans in accordance with center protocols.
• Record patient data in the Tech Data Entry system.
• Provide and issue films/CDs to Radiologists on completion.
• Assist clerical staff and re-supply equipment as needed.
