Job summary

The Greensboro Science Center in Greensboro, NC is seeking a part-time grounds maintenance worker to perform daily campus upkeep, equipment handling, and safety checks before opening to visitors.

You will operate small machinery, mulch and manage debris, and assist with seasonal weather tasks. Applicants must be available mornings (7am–1pm), have a NC driver’s license, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Grounds care experience preferred.
• Valid NC driver's license required.
• Background check will be completed prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Daily morning campus maintenance prior to visitors; substrate management and landscape care.
• Operate power equipment; perform safety and perimeter checks.
• Winter snow/ice management as needed; debris and erosion control tasks.
• Supports seasonal events and campus developments as needed.
