Apple Montessori Schools in Mahwah, NJ seeks a Teacher Assistant for the Toddler program to support Lead Teachers and foster a nurturing Montessori environment. The role runs Monday to Friday with hours 1:00pm - 6:30pm, contributing to children's growth, independence, and curiosity.

You will help maintain a safe classroom, assist with lesson plans, and communicate with families to support each child's development in a warm, structured setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood settings preferred.
• Ability to support Lead Teacher and follow lesson plans.
• Strong communication with families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to implement lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication.
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting independence and creativity.
