Apple Montessori Schools in Warren, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Infant and Preschool programs. Shift options include 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm overlap.

As a Teacher Assistant, you will support Lead Teachers, help create a nurturing Montessori environment, and contribute to safety, records, and family communication while fostering independence, confidence, and curiosity in young learners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication.
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity.
• Model appropriate social behavior and actively engage with students.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and mentorship programs.
