Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Boonton, NJ to provide reliable security services at a utilities location with flexible hours and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts. The role features fixed anchor shifts plus the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

Minimum requirements include two years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with site requirements.
