Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in North Bergen, NJ. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, aiming to boost earnings while gaining diverse site experience.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The position supports part-time schedules with potential to grow toward full-time over time, and requires at least two years of security experience along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points and perimeter areas.
• Monitor building access, observe and report unusual conditions, and document incidents and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel and responders.
• Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, and general property support while maintaining a professional presence.
