Job summary

Key School seeks a part-time Middle School Assistant Theater Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. Reporting to the Theater Director, you will provide administrative and logistical support throughout the theatre production process, aiding with scheduling, communications, costumes, props, sets, copying, and setup/breakdown of rehearsals and performances.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting theatre productions is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, logistics, and rehearsals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative duties in production including scheduling, communications, costumes, props, set, copying, and rehearsals setup.
• Attend all technical rehearsals and performances.
• Be available for most rehearsals March–May; exact schedule determined with Theatre Director.
• Attend auditions in December and callbacks in January as directed; assist with production calendar.
