Job summary

Collegium Charter School is seeking a part-time Technical Director for the Collegium Center Stage Theater to provide administrative, creative, and instructional support to the CCST Director during the spring musical. The role encompasses stage crew management, set/lighting/sound design, and safe, collaborative production execution with students.

You will attend rehearsals, assist with set construction, supervise student crews, and coordinate with the PAC Director to realize the production

Qualifications

• Experience with theatre productions (plays/musicals) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prop/set and tech needs.
• Strong teamwork and professional collaboration with students and staff.
• Clearances: Criminal Background, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprint (within 1 year).
• Meets PA Public School employment criteria.

Responsibilities

• Enforces school codes and policies related to conduct.
• Promotes citizenship and models professional behavior.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
• Assists with production of fall play and spring musical.
• Collaborates to meet technical needs of the creative vision.
• Attends rehearsals and set-building sessions, especially late production.
• Supervises student stage crew and prop masters.
