Ozarks Electric Cooperative is seeking a Metering Tech to assist in testing, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of metering apparatus and related equipment. The role supports Meter Technicians and requires adherence to ANSI and CEMC standards, using calibration devices and AMR testing tools.

The candidate should be able to learn CPR/First Aid, possess strong communication skills, operate Windows-based computers, and maintain accurate metering inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to learn CPR and first aid.
• Good written and oral communication skills required.
• Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsabilités

• Assist Meter Technicians with installation of three phase metering equipment.
• Accurately test and program meters using ANSI and CEMC standards with calibration equipment.
• Perform computerized testing/programming of AMR devices.
• Accurately inventory metering equipment.
