Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations across IA, including Dyersville and nearby towns. You will display cards, gift wrap, and party goods, keep backrooms organized, and manage inventory while coordinating with store management.

The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and 401(k) with company match. Training is provided and you’ll typically work across several stores with occasional weekend or holiday hours.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
• Technological competency—able to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks
• Meet scheduling needs, including weekends and major holidays

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain organized backroom areas and complete inventory tasks
• Communicate with management about service or schedule questions
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management skills
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product assembly
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using company tablet
• Work independently and with a team
