American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple Dayton-area locations, maintaining displays and inventories for greeting cards and related product. You will operate independently with a company tablet, focusing on organization and timely stock replenishment.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; weekend and holiday scheduling is common. The role offers flexible hours and a 401(k) with company match, in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• English reading, writing and comprehension required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation due to multiple retail locations.
• Reliable internet to receive updates.
• Tech-savvy and able to use the company tablet for training and tasks.
• Willing to work weekends and during major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and organize product orders in greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Display product effectively and maintain backroom organization.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns with management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail setting with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, and product relocation as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
