Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations on a dedicated route, including greeting card and gift wrap sections. You will maintain displays, manage inventory, and collaborate with store teams to ensure timely merchandising and store resets as needed.

The role offers on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, and progression pay: $14.00/hr initially with increases after 6 months and 12 months.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on the assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders and displays.
• Communicate with management about service or scheduling questions.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours.
• Possibility of additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, minor fixture work, or product relocation.
• Plan weekly service schedule in assigned stores using the company tablet.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
