Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations, displaying and maintaining inventory for greetings cards, gift wrap, party goods, and more. The ideal candidate works independently with strong time management and organizational skills, with training provided on a company tablet.

Starting pay is $11.70 per hour with staged increases to $12.40 after 6 months and $13.00 after one year; flexible scheduling and 401(k) with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to cover multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet for updates and training.
• Able to learn and use a company-provided tablet.
• Occasional weekends and holiday scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route including merchandising and organizing orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and complete inventory tasks.
• Communicate scheduling questions or concerns with management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Assist with store resets and fixture work as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule using company tablet.
• Work independently and with a team.
