Job summary

American Greetings Corporation is seeking merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, organizing product, displaying items, and maintaining inventory for greeting cards and related items. Starting pay is $11.70 per hour with planned increases to $12.40 after six months and $13.00 after one year. Flexible scheduling and paid training are offered, along with a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must speak/read/write English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Reliable internet for updates and training.
• Must learn and use company-issued tablet.
• Occasional weekends and major-holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product in greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backrooms and perform inventory tasks.
• Communicate questions or concerns to management about schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work or product assembly.
