Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Program Specialist to facilitate group mentoring sessions and manage enrollment/match support across school and workplace sites in the LA area.

The role requires travel for face-to-face meetings with corporate and school partners, and involves coordinating schedules, delivering curricula, and ensuring high-quality mentoring experiences while upholding child safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong project management, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience with youth mentoring or education programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured group mentoring sessions at school and workplace sites.
• Coordinate schedules, attendance, room setup, materials, and logistics.
• Lead enrollment processes, interviews, and match introductions; provide match support.
• Maintain accurate records per BBBSA guidelines and program manuals.
• Prioritize child safety and risk management in all activities.
