Job summary

Endeavor Health Naperville is hiring a Mental Health Technician for the Resource Team on the day shift. This part-time role (20 hours) supports RN staff, ensures patient safety, and assists with daily living activities and treatment plans in a behavioral health setting.

You will document care, monitor patients, and participate in admissions and transfers under supervision. CPR is required; CPI training within 90 days is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire if not already certified.
• Experience in hospital or customer service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision to patients with behavioral health disorders.
• Maintain a safe milieu and document care according to procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as assigned.
• Record vitals, assist with EKG as trained, and support treatment plans.
• Transport patients as needed and support admission/discharge processes.
