Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Central Resource Team/Float Pool at Edward Hospital in Naperville. This is a full-time 36-hour week with day shifts 6:30 am–7:00 pm and rotating holidays/weekends.

You will assist RNs with patient care tasks to promote comfort, safety and well-being under established procedures. Required include current CPR certification, completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course (or equivalent), and at least six months of

Qualifications

• CPR certification current (American Heart Association or BLS)
• Minimum six months of hospital patient care experience or completion of nursing clinical rotation
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize and follow directions (teamwork)

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care tasks to ensure comfort, safety and well-being.
• Adhere to established procedures and care plans; document care provided as required.
