Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will help maintain a safe milieu, participate in treatment planning, and document according to policy to support patients with behavioral health disorders.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to de-escalate, CPR certification, and CPI within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate de-escalation and behavior management techniques.
• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in psychology preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required or must be obtained prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers meals and assists with nutritional intake and documentation.
• Assists with activities of daily living under nurse supervision.
• Performs plan of care tasks and infection control compliance.
• Transports or escorts patients as needed and completes admission documentation.
• Maintains a therapeutic milieu and communicates patient status with RN.
