Job summary

Avamere at South Hill in Spokane, WA is seeking a part-time Server to provide exceptional dining service in a memory care, assisted living and/or independent living setting. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering attentive care to residents.

The role requires knowledge of food safety, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. Local Food Handlers card is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Interpersonal skills to establish relationships with residents and staff.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Must have current Food Handlers card from local Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders.
• Delivering food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Providing attentive service and addressing residents' needs during meals.
• Setting up dining room and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
• Clearing and resetting tables for the next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents.
• Answering questions about menu and dietary needs.
