Peregrine Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Resident Care Aide to support memory-impaired residents in Clifton Park, NY. The role involves assisting with bathing, grooming, and dressing while preserving dignity and independence, and reporting any changes to the supervisor.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma and may hold CNA/HHA/PCA certification. Relevant experience and a compassionate mindset are highly valued, with a shift of 3pm–11pm and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year working in a care giving capacity preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming and dressing while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor and document concerns.
• Promote resident participation in community activities.
