Peregrine Senior Living in the greater Albany region is seeking an energetic Resident Care Aide/Medication Assistant to support memory-impaired residents. You will assist with bathing, grooming, and daily tasks while maintaining dignity, document care, and report changes to supervisors.

CNA/HHA/PCA certification is preferred; GED encouraged; prior caregiving experience preferred. The role runs 7am–3pm on a full-time basis with shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends; generous

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year working in a care giving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting memory-impaired residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining dignity.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities.
