Peregrine Senior Living in Clifton Park, NY is seeking a part-time Resident Care Aide/Medication Aide to work 3pm-11pm on weekends. You will support memory-impaired residents with daily tasks, ensure rights compliance, and maintain care records, reporting changes promptly to supervisors.

This role requires compassionate individuals with a preference for elder care, and may involve CNA/HHA/PCA certification per law or existing qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year working in a caregiving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Aufgaben

• Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence
• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Maintain and document proper records of care
• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor:evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities

Ausbildung

High school diploma or GED
