Peregrine Senior Living in Clifton Park, NY is seeking a Resident Care Aide for a part-time role. The position works 7am-3pm, every other weekend, with a salary of $16.50-$18.00 per hour based on experience and with shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred or as required by law.
• One year working in a care giving capacity preferred.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting memory-impaired residents to bathe, groom, and dress while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Ensure compliance and understanding of regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Maintain and document proper records of care.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor promptly (illness, behavior changes, etc.).
• Promote and encourage resident participation in community activities.
