Job summary

DivaDance is seeking a confident, persuasive Membership Sales & Client Experience team member to connect with clients during classes, understand their goals, and present membership options that fit. You will onboard new members, help them maximize benefits, and occasionally post to social media during classes.

Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred. You’ll work 1–2 evenings per week with classes at Oak Park/Downers Grove, have reliable transport, and be eligible to work in the

THE GIG:

We're looking for a confident, persuasive individual who is ready to CHANGE LIVES through sales of our inclusive, fun, stress-free dance class membership! You'll be connecting with our clients at our classes to hear about their experience, learn more about their reasons for coming and why DivaDance could help them reach their goals, and then present ways our membership options may fit them best! You'll also be onboarding new members and making sure they are maximizing their membership, as well as posting to our social media accounts during our classes while observing the class experience! The perfect person in this role thrives on forming meaningful rapport with everyone you meet! You're fun, values-driven, obsessed with excellence AND you want to make a difference in people's lives. Most importantly, you are persuasive, articulate, and confident. We provide all onboarding details, but prefer someone with customer service and/or sales experience.

HOURS, COMPENSATION, LOCATION:

We are looking for you to host 1-2 classes per week - mostly in the evenings and possibly on weekends. DivaDance brings our classes into existing facilities - we do not have our own physical location in Oak Park but do in Downers Grove. You can expect to work at our studio in Oak Park/Downers Grove and should have reliable transportation to get there for classes! Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Compensation is $15 per class + $10 per membership sold + free dance classes!

It's ideal to have a tablet or iPad for this role. (But not necessary)
