Job summary

Girl Scouts of Gateway Council is seeking a Part-Time Membership Coordinator in Jacksonville, FL to drive recruitment, conversion, and renewal of members across the council area. This role engages families, schools, and partners to connect girls and adults to troops and experiences.

The position focuses on front-line member acquisition, executing recruitment events, follow-ups, and back-office placement while delivering high-quality customer service throughout the joining experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or relevant work experience.
• 2+ years in customerservice, sales, program delivery, community engagement or related field.
• Comfort with public speaking and event facilitation, representing Girl Scouts in groups.
• Highly proficient in Salesforce CRM, Looker, and Microsoft Suite platforms.
• Attention to detail and commitment to membership data health and process consistency.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Travel throughout the council jurisdiction up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to provide own transportation and maintain valid operator license.

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees the member pipeline for an assigned geographic area and guides potential members through the conversion process via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Generates, manages, and converts leads through community events, school presentations, tabling, referrals, and outreach to families and prospective volunteers.
• Supports execution of recruitment events and membership growth strategies to increase girl and adult membership in designated areas.
• Supports troop formation meetings by coordinating logistics and assisting with onsite membership registration.
• Ensures smooth workflow in placement of registered girls into troops and coordinates troop numbers and transfers.
• Provides excellent customer service to community partners, families, and volunteers during the membership registration process and promotes the Girl Scout brand and mission.
• Tracks recruitment activity and membership data in CRM/database systems.
• Assists and provides support for potential, new, and existing members on accessing Girl Scout technology platforms.
• Develops an understanding of GSGC operations to address member inquiries and requests effectively.
