Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of experience in financial or banking environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication with members and colleagues.
• Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance; assist members with inquiries.
• Willingness to register for NMLS; Notary Public certification may be required.
• Annual BSA training and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with loan and credit card applications, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
• Process and disburse loan proceeds and schedule loan closings with members.
• Complete month-end reporting and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Open and close accounts, including investments and IRA accounts, maintaining up-to-date records.
• Conduct checks (e.g., SSN verification) to prevent fraudulent accounts or delinquencies.
• Serve as a liaison between members and departments, ensuring clear communication.
• Process and authenticate deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and wires.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for Credit Union products and services.
• Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and phones.
