Job summary

All In Credit Union in Dothan, AL is seeking a Part-Time Member Service Representative to support branch operations at 28 hours per week. You will assist with loan and credit card applications, process loan proceeds, and help members with account opening/closing, while ensuring compliance with internal standards.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, SSN verification, and clear communication between members and departments.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of related experience in a financial or banking environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members and colleagues.
• Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance.
• Willingness to register and participate in NMLS; Notary Public certification may be required.
• Must complete annual BSA training and maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with loan and credit card applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Process and disburse loan proceeds, ensuring proper documentation and scheduling loan closings with members.
• Complete month-end reporting and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Help members open and close accounts, including investments and IRA accounts, while maintaining up-to-date records.
• Conduct necessary checks, such as SSN verification, to prevent fraudulent accounts or accounts with outstanding balances.
• Serve as a liaison between members and various departments, ensuring clear communication.
• Process and authenticate financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, and more.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for Credit Union products and services to enhance member engagement.
• Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, equipment maintenance, and answering phones.
• Register and participate in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required.
• Provide notary services (if applicable) in compliance with state regulations.
• Act as the Membership Officer, supporting high levels of member satisfaction.
