Job summary

Excel Fitness in Virginia is seeking a part-time Team Player to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming club environment. You will assist members, operate the front desk, and support daily operations while upholding our brand standards and training requirements.

The role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. CPR/AED certification is required before working alone, and you will gain hands-on experience in wellness industry operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/AED certification required before working alone.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computers.
• Familiar with Excel and Planet Fitness brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Submit a Sub Availability Form on hire and update at least seven days prior if changes occur.
• Must communicate with club management and reply within 24 hours to accept or deny shifts.
• Maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere during shifts.
• Assist members and promote member services and programs.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS systems.
• Audit cash drawers daily and balance accurately.
• Conduct regular club walkarounds and inspections of tasks.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the upcoming shift.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and insurance requirements.
• Attend team meetings and participate in outreach events as needed.
