Job summary

TRUE Community Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Member Advisor for our Brooklyn Branch. The role focuses on helping members with everyday banking needs, opening and maintaining accounts, and guiding customers to suitable financial solutions.

You will process transactions, assist with loan applications, and provide guidance on fraud prevention and account security, all while delivering a high level of service and building trust with members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of banking, retail, cash handling, customer service, sales, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using technology and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and other account transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts, assist with consumer loan applications, educate members on fraud prevention and account security.
• Recommend products and services that support members’ financial well‑being.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with members.
