Duly Health and Care in Tinley Park, IL is seeking a part-time Medical Technologist to join our routine clinical laboratory operations. The MT will perform pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic steps across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, and urinalysis, under regulated policies and procedures.

Rotating shifts from 6am to 9:30pm, plus weekends, with 20 hours per week. Bachelor’s degree and certification in AMT or ASCP required or timely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or Medical Laboratory Science per CLIA.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation (IERF).
• Must be certified through AMT or ASCP within the specified timeline.

Responsabilités

• Perform all analytical testing for chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology and urinalysis.
• Collect, receive and process specimens; ensure correct labeling and handling.
• Verify, review and report results in the LIS within turnaround times.
• Maintain stock of reagents and controls; notify supervisor of shortages.
• Troubleshoot test systems and equipment; perform quality control and maintenance.
• Ensure the laboratory is inspection-ready at all times.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or Medical Laboratory Science

AMT or ASCP certification (within hire timeline)
