Job summary

Midwest Physicians Administrative Services, LLC dba Duly Health and Care is seeking a part-time Medical Technologist to perform diverse laboratory analyses and manage specimens. The role involves rotating shifts from 6am to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotations in Lisle.

A strong emphasis on accuracy, QC, and timely reporting is required. The ideal candidate holds a Medical Technology degree with MLS/MT credentials (AMT/ASCP) and CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related science field.
• AMT or ASCP certification preferred; foreign credentials require evaluation.
• Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, and urinalysis following policy and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, receive, and process specimens; ensure proper labeling and prioritization.
• Monitor quality control, troubleshoot instruments, and maintain equipment.
• Review results for accuracy and integrity; report in the LIS within turnaround times.
• Maintain adequate reagent stocks and ensure readiness for inspection and audits.
